The church is meant to shine the Light of Jesus in this perverse world, and we are called to be a city built on a hill, whose light is seen (Matthew 5:14). Like Jesus Christ, we are appointed to declare good news to the poor and proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind and set the oppressed free (Luke 4:18).

How effectively can we, as a body of Christ, do this when a good number of us are in the same quagmire? In this radio segment, we delve into “The Heart of the Matter”, discussing issues that silently plague the church, including alcohol addiction, domestic violence, anger, emotional volatility, sexual addiction, divorce, eating disorders, suicide, homicide, and more.

The enemy loves when we fight the wrong battles so he can keep us circling around the same mountain of our disorders without achieving true victory. In this show, we purpose to dig deeper and identify the root causes of these problems, discussing how to overcome them and walk in the freedom our Lord Jesus Christ died for while remaining rooted in His love that casts out all fear
